Another Update

Hey! Long time no information. I have sold 3 items so far! I also added more items to my shop and created new Scrabble Bracelets.

I created a Bellatrix Lestrange bracelet, a Severus Snape bracelet, a CSI: Miami bracelet and I finally finished my Grey's Anatomy Bracelet by adding charms to it. I just sold a vampire diaries bracelet today so it won't be in my shop.

Next week is RRR week, also known as dead week followed by finals week so I probably won't be updating for a while.

If you would like to see please visit my shop and take a look around (=

Excitement, Cash, and More OH MY!

Hey everyone!

I made a sale today!!!! I was so excited I was literally jumping up and down for a good 15 minutes before I called almost everyone I knew and told them. I made a Harry Potter Scrabble Bracelet featuring all 7 book covers with beads in between of the house colors and someone bought it! *sigh* at least I can say that I sold at least 1 item.

I don't even think it was up for a whole day before it sold. On the better news as an update (because I will probably not be around until next Wednesday due to Major papers needing to be written) I am adding more things to my shop. I just added the Grey's Anatomy Bracelet (I finally finished it and added beads and charms) along with another "potion" bottle. The potion bottle has "spider webs" and "spiders" inside.

I can't wait to sell more! (=
Since the Harry Potter bracelet sold I am making another one but this time the beads are going to be a bit different. I have to get more yellow beads seeing as how I only have 2 left but that shouldn't be a problem. Here is another link to my etsy shop. It's called yeaswtthng. (Yea Sweet Thing but without the vowels)

Etsy Shop!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been out of the loop again. Still doing school work and getting ready for finals in about 3 weeks. I also recently (thanks to a friend) found joy in Vampire Diaries. More specifically in Ian Somerholder's eyes (actor portraying Damon) *sigh*.

On another note I am here to post an update! I just opened my own etsy shop! YEY! I'm so excited! I'm kinda anxious to see if anyone likes my work and they're willing to buy it. I only have 3 items for sale at the moment but I will have more soon! I just have to stop being so lazy and take the time to post them. The real problem I have is that I'm too lazy to put in all the tags, materials i used, and a really really detailed description. I mean a picture along is worth a thousand words.

On a good note I was so excited to see that 7 people have viewed my items! How crazy is that? I'm just glad to get exposure. I'm just so scared of failing and ending up quitting this jewelry thing like I have done everything else. I quit Badminton and Archery and I'm scared that I am going to do the same with this. I mean I love to create jewelry and to show the world what I can make. I like the fact that my friends and family look at me with awe because I can create cute things and I don't want that to go away.

Anyways here is the link to my shop because I have no idea how to link it (= Happy Beading!

I'm Back.....!!!!!

Hey guys! Sorry about the VERY long Hiatus. I have been VERY busy because school is winding down and I have to get everything ready to Study Abroad.

Also after Friday I will not be posting anything again until AFTER April 4th. Anyway, on to the good news I am also finished with the bracelet from the previous post (the red, black, and white one) I just need to wait for the glaze to dry (=

I also have two more earring creations to post today. CHANDELIER EARRINGS!!!! YEY!

(=  I absolutely LOVE chandelier earrings and I thought since I already have some of the parts I might as well make a pair or two. So I created a red pair and a blue pair. Hope you like it (=

Update

Hello everyone.

Sorry I haven't posted in over a week I've been a bit busy with school, midterms, projects, and I am designing a new bracelet for a friend. I also didn't want to update without something to say. I should have the bracelet design finished by the end of today and the actual bracelet done during Spring Break the week after next.

To give you an idea of what I've been working on:

Now what I'm going to do about the earrings I'm not sure yet but I have a VERY limited supply of black beads and VERY few different designs of red beads.

Random Beads I Made

Hello. This is the last post of the night. Here are 4 random beads I made to represent the Harry Potter House Colors. The first is sort of a "demonstration" type thing where I show you how I got the beads to wrap. Anyway it's basically a bead that has wire wrapped around it which also has beads on the wire.

My Customizable Scrabble Bracelet

Here is a customizable Scrabble Bracelet that I made for myself.

I didn't create matching earrings but I did spell out my name: Amanda Lynn The beads inbetween are regular oval beads with a smaller bead dangling from the ends.

The picture below is a picture of:
My favorite dessert: Chocolate Covered Strawberries
A Picture of Me
One of my 2 favorite flowers: Sunflowers
As well as the various charms.

This next Photo is a Photo of Me and three of my cousins in my cousin's car during Thanksgiving at my grandmother's house the year before she died. I'm in the back with the green shirt. The second photo is a picture of Green Satin Fabric representing my favorite color being Emerald Green.

This next photo is a picture of the charm with me and my good friend Mahzabina. This was a photo that was taken at Disneyland during our Grad Night Trip in 2009. Along with this photo is a charm that has been cut off. This charm is of Red Tulips which are my second favorite flowers.

This next photo is a photo of Red Tulips again along with a photo of me and my two closest Cousins, Cheyenne (the blue beaded scrabble bracelet) and Krystina (called Nina) during a trip to San Francisco.

The next photo is a picture of one of my favorite TV Shows and Certainly my favorite CSI tv show CSI: Miami featuring my two favorite Characters Eric Delko and Ryan Wolfe (the one I have the hots for) played by Adam Rodriguez and Jonathan Togo respectively.

This last photo is a photo of  me and my cousin Cheyenne (previously mentioned). This photo was taken the night of my graduation at a Boat Cruise around the San Francisco Bay. It's also a picture of the clasp (although that is going to change).

Oh! I forgot to post a picture of the back side (=

A Couple Earrings I Made

Hello again!

Here are a few earrings I made. The cherry ones below I made because of a previous pair I had broke and I got the idea from there.

These next earrings I got from an idea online at Lindsey Marcella's Site

I thought they were cute and wanted to make my own so here they are:

These last earrings I got the idea from a wire bead cage. I had just bought 50 of them and I was testing a bead by putting it inside and when I tried to get the bead out I couldn't. So what did I do? I got fed up and twisted the wire and ended up cutting it in half. When putting the two halves next to each other I thought that they would make good earrings so I decided to create earrings from them. They're made from VERY hard wire. It was hard to manipulate the wire to bend and create a "loop" so I could attach it to the earring hoop.
